The right-hander will start Game 5 of the ALCS on Wednesday in The Bronx against the Astros, with the series tied 2-2, looking for a third straight solid outing in the playoffs. He threw seven scoreless innings against the Indians in Game 3 of the ALDS that helped the Yankees get back into that series and then limited Houston to a pair of runs over six innings in a Game 1 defeat in the ALCS.

Just when it looked like the Yankees were destined to fall behind 3-1 in the best-of-7 American League Championship Series Tuesday, they staged an incredible comeback in Game 4 for a 6-4 win that tied the series at 2-2 against the Astros. The Bronx Bombers cut Houston's 4-0 lead in half with a two-run seventh, including a monster Aaron Judge homer to dead center, then exploded for four more runs in the eighth to take its first lead.

Cop arrested for exposing himself to girls

An NYPD housing cop has been busted for exposing himself to two school-aged sisters as they walked to church in The Bronx last week, police said. Adam Fridson, 43, a 12-year veteran who works in the borough, was charged Tuesday with acting in a manner injurious to a child, lewdness and exposure of a person for committing the disturbing act against the victims, aged 12 and 7, cops said.

Cops accidentally struck a machete-wielding teen with a marked NYPD van while chasing him through The Bronx and fractured his pelvis Monday night, officials said. Isaiah Rivera, 17, was waving the weapon while fighting with someone when cops spotted him near the corner of Grand Concourse and East Kingsbridge Raod in Fordham Manor around 11 p.m. Rivera bolted when he saw the police van approaching and began running down a concrete island between the Grand Concourse's inner and outer roadways, police said.

A pair of NYPD officers chasing a machete-wielding teen clipped him with their police van Monday night, authorities said. The 17-year-old male had the blade in his hand on Grand Concourse near East Kingsbridge Road when NYPD officers coming back from a prisoner transport spotted him just before 11 p.m., police said.
