270 Pounds of Drugs Seized in Record Fentanyl Bust, Officials Say

Police seized nearly 270 pounds of narcotics worth $30 million during separate busts in Queens and The Bronx, including a record haul of fentanyl, law enforcement officials said Monday. The first arrest on Aug. 1 led to the largest seizure of fentanyl in city history, with more than 140 pounds of the synthetic opioid recovered in a raid on a Kew Gardens apartment, federal prosecutors said.

We've seen Joe Mauer's Hall of Fame case before

The last time the Twins reached the postseason, 2009-10, eliminated both years in the division series by the Yankees, Joe Mauer was not only their best player, but on the short list with Albert Pujols and a few others as the best in the game. That version of Mauer is gone, not in The Bronx this week and possibly on Oct. 3 for the AL wild-card game.
