Miguel Andujar making it hard for Yankees to take him out of lineup

For much of the offseason, it seemed like Miguel Andujar was on his way to being the starting third baseman in The Bronx. Instead, a spring training trade brought Brandon Drury to the Yankees and suddenly, Andujar was no longer the third baseman of the present - or maybe even the future.

Capitol Watch: Special election, Nixon-Cuomo taxes

In New York state government news, two upcoming special elections in the Bronx and Westchester County could decide which party controls the state Senate. Voters in Democrat-leaning districts in Westchester County and the Bronx will head to the polls Tuesday to fill two vacant state Senate seats.

Giancarlo Stanton snaps HR drought but can't stop the boos

Not much went right for the Yankees on Friday night, but at least Giancarlo Stanton showed he's not a lost cause in The Bronx. Stanton snapped a 50 at-bat homerless streak with an opposite-field shot off Marco Estrada in the third inning of the Yankees' 8-5 loss to the Blue Jays at the Stadium.
