Mets pull Todd Frazier out of free agency for $17M

The Mets agreed to a deal with the veteran Frazier on Monday night for two years and $17 million, The Post's Mike Puma confirmed. Frazier played the end of last season in The Bronx, after the Yankees acquired him in a multi-player trade with the White Sox.

Jonathan Tuck was less than a mile away from home in The Bronx when on Sunday night he went to buy some weed and got into an argument resulting in a fatal shot to the head, according to Pix 11 . The shooting occurred near Washington Avenue and East 185th Street.

City Of Science Brings Scientific Exploration to Kids in The Bronx

The World Science Festival and Con Edison are pleased to announce that City of Science, the touring mini-metropolis of mind-expanding demonstrations and hands-on activities for families, comes to the Bronx on Sunday, March 11. City of Science is a series of free day-long events-one in each of New York City's five boroughs-that engage New Yorkers in the exploration of science, technology, engineering, and math. Visitors can launch objects 20 feet in the air with a seismic accelerator, walk on water, topple seven-foot tall dominoes, create an orbiting solar system at the Warped Space Gravity Simulator, and explore a variety of mind-bending challenges and puzzles.
